Oct 30, 2009 Rating Thanks Ladies! by: Jeni ~ Imitations Of Life Thanks to all you lovely ladies! It does take some time to root those big heads. For me it takes about 15-16 hours (not all on the same day of course). For the lashes & brows, I generally use the same mohair as the hair, just a shade darker, and I do use a fine needle...43 gage German Fork which I modify for the lashes & brows. I very lightly draw the brows on first with a water color pencil, so that once the brows are rooted and glued from the inside, I can spritz the brows with water and then use a soft toothbrush to remove any trace of pencil mark. Oct 30, 2009 Rating Rooting the eyebrows by: Sherri Keller'Woo How do you root the eyebrows? Also how do you root eyelashes on open eye doll? Are you using stiffer hair for the eyelashes. I am just always nervous about it & afraid to try it? Using very fine rooting needle I expect.
