Hi, Every time I try and use genesis thick medium to add texture to a reborn baby it dries white and powdery looking and marks white wherever the doll is touched. I have just removed a layer from a finished doll, by scraping with a pallete knife, but the doll is pretty ruined now!!

Make up a different texture.

I agree, I tried this type to texture my reborns as well and it gave me nothing but problems. I use it now only for eyebrows, painted hair lines. I only use a very little. When I first purchased it I thought that it was for an all over texture ffect. I finally have just came up with my own mix to texture with.

When I first started reborning, and used thick medium, I used too much and it was also white after I baked it. With trial and error, I came to the conclusion that less is best. I take a toothpick, and use a sparse amount on it, then lightly dab in the direction the eyebrow hairs would be growing. Hope this helps!

That happens to me too. Hope someone out there knows what we are doing wrong. Is the over hot enough? are we putting too much on?
