using thick medium on a reborn doll?

After I have painted the head on my reborn doll how do I use thick medium do I just cover head with it ? Or add it in strokes like painting hair thanks deb xx

Hello, yes after u etch the head and u like how it looks heat set it :) this way it even feels natural ... if there is areas u want to touch up that is ok too just work on that area in the same way.

I like your idea using the toothpick. Do you then heat it as usual?

Hello, the best way i have done it is paint the thick medium (very thin even layer)on then with a toothpick etch into it goin into the direction of the way u painted hair... makes it look very nice this way!!! hope this helps..
