toning down 'too pink' flesh on a reborn doll?

I have a finished reborn doll that is too pink. What can be done at this time to tone down the color?

Okay..I've had this happen before and I took a bit of mineral spirits (odorless pt thinner) and dab it with a sponge. If that doesn't work then I try acetone. I'd be very carful and dab lightly and see how it does/ And if it's just too pink for that, then you might have to use the Earth Mint Genesis paint and mix with a little pt. thinner and dab very lightly with a sponge. Be carefulnot to get too much. I was wondering..have you put the doll together yet or are you just getting ready to put together? I ask as you might have to heat it to set the new paint. If I just use the thinner and/or acetone and I get good results, then I leave it. Others might have better ideas.
