I found the information very helpful too with the peach vinyl, starting with a very thin mint layer.
Please tell me how do you properly start on the very pink/mauve vinyl.

I LIKE WORKING WITH THE PINK. ON THE BOUNTIFUL PINK IS THE EASY ONE. I DON'T DO AN INSIDE WASH BUT I DO HAVE TO DO IT ON SECRIST. (let me take those caps off..lol) I start with putting the veins on and let that dry and then most of the time I use the flesh 7 (which is the bountiful 2.
I will sometimes use 8 on one side of the sponge and 7 on the other. I find if I try to stay simple I do better...the minute I try a bunch of new stuff I make a mess. I guess If i have to much pink or red, I do use the earth mint to counter the color. I don't know if I hurt or helped...Just have fun, I think most of the time we all get our little things that we do that we stumble upon when we like what we did. :o_

Well, I'm sure there are some more experienced girls who can help you even more & me too as I see answers here, but I start out with the 8 & mix in a bit of white for 1st layer & have the purple blue inner wash with genesis as usual. It just seems to take more layers of thin wash flesh to me to get color I want. Do the flesh 8 & white for caucasions & flesh 8 for going darker babies & might do a yellow wash on these if having a flesh color I don't like to tone down the blue. I really don't have that much more trouble with it, but just quicker to get natural flesh tone with the peach.
