Reborn Boy-Baby Dillan

Baby Dillan was reborn at Teeny Bundles Nursery.

Dillan began as a Sydney sculpt by Pat Moulton. Dillan weighs 3 lb 15 oz and is about 20" in length. He came to life after many layers of Genesis Heat Set paints. I used many of the same paints that Bountiful Baby premixed, but I changed a few of the colors up by creating my own mix.

I hand-rooted Dillan's eyes and hair with an ultra 38 gauge needle. I used very thin brushes that I cut down to give the finest details. I weighted him with fine glass beads enclosed in a stocking and fiber-fill. I use many techniques when I paint which include various sponges. I spent a lot of time between layers on Dillan because he seemed to need extra attention(as his facial expression shows)!
