new reborner with some questions

hello there..
I'm new to this so please bear with me..
I have just bought a starter set, with essential acrylic air dry paints.
i have been reading a lot about reborning for almost a year in fact, and thought to begin with, that air dry was the best and least expensive way to start.
I have a few questions tho..
do I wash the reborn doll before I prime it?
and with the air dry paints it says I can use water to mix it and not thinner....is this right?
there are still things I need to buy but thought i would start the process of painting my doll and see how I go..
also if i make a mistake, how do I rectify with air dry?

I wish there was some lessons in my area for this.. :)

any help anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated

Hi hun,i dont know what air drys your using?i use luminaire which are amazing and can be used with water.Look up the LILIAN TRIGG free tutorial,also answers questions.Mistakes can be rectified if you dab IMMEDIANTLY with a damp cosmetic sponge,i scratched one of my babies when finished and had to do that area again an added little more blush in that area,which looks fine.I realise some of these airdrys state 20mins dry time,but i leave a hour between coats,just to be sure as ive had problems before,hope this helps hun.xx

I genesis paints and not air dry paint, so cant answer your questions, but if you search in google there is a lot of free tutorials on how to use these paints, I have enclosed some in this post for you.
