I replaced a tip on a toe that was slightly flat, but had to glue it after it baked in the right shape with that vynil glue & it held fine. Then on a Harvey kit vynil very thin & had to supersculpty the inside of the nose to give it depth, but also had to glue that as did'nt adher to the vynil. I suppose if it is in groves & stuff it becomes one better...That vynil glue I got held through paintings & bakings I suppose until it did become one with it. Just wondering as I had been afraid to do ears of my own becouse of that limited experience I have with the supersculpty. Thanks so much!

Nov 08, 2009 Rating Fairy Ears reply by: Sabriam I haven't used glue on the ears I have done for fairies/elves. The sculpty ears aren't sitting on top of the original ears, they are all around them. The top half of the ear, every crease if filled with the sculpty in the front and back and side, and the edge of the sculpty is carefully smoothed to blend into the original ear. Nov 08, 2009 Rating Iris by: Sherri Keller'Woo Oh, she is darling! I love the Fairies! I have thought of making an ethnic fairy too. My Kaylee fairy is on ebay right now. I am fixing to do Clymers "Raven Awake" I just love them thats all & you did a wonderful job on the ears. How do you get the supersculpty to stay on there? I have baked it on before, but always have to glue the piece with vynil glue to get it to stay in place & be able to paint it & bake again. Is that what you do? Hugs!
