I don't care for the term fake baby

I don't like the term "fake baby" either. When I hear that term I almost feel insulted because reborning is an art form....and there is nothing fake about it!

I am sure that some people do use the reborns for therapy help. Which is perfectly acceptable....after all what is better then cuddling a baby. But they are reborn dolls and not a substitute for a human baby.

People have been collecting dolls for years.....and now because we have found a way to improve the doll and make it look more realistic.....suddenly it's not acceptable and they imply that you must have something wrong with you if you buy and collect reborn dolls. It's not any different than if you collect teddy bears, baseball cards, or any of the hundreds of other things that people collect.
