My latest little reborn pumpkin Andrew

Hi Ladies,
Your advice has been so valuable since I starting reborning. I have so far done four reborn babies. I am now so addicted lol. My hurdle at the moment is how best to sell them so I can make more. I had one of my babies listed on Ebay, it didn't look very good, the way it was listed. I notice most of the babies are listed in very pretty templates, with lots of photo's. I'm not good with computers at the best of times, and have no idea how to do this, is there a site I can visit to get a few pointers?

Selling Reborns

Hi, selling and creating are two different things and to sell well and get known as a reborn artist you must learn the art of selling. The artists that sell really well on eBay and other sites put time and effort into their photos and their sales copy. I believe you should be putting in the extra time in researching how to sell reborn dolls and then putting them on ebay or other websites.

Selling your babies

I have only sold 2 babies on ebay, so I can't help you with that part. You can put dolls up for sale on this site, on FaceBook, and in person. I have gotten about 1/2 my babies sold (including some customs ordered) from people seeing my babies in person. I take them around when I run errands, as long as I'm not in a hurry LOL. I always schedule an extra 2 hours, because that's how much longer it takes with everyone wanting to see the "baby" and ask questions :)

Andrew is adorable you must be a natural for your 4th baby to look sooo good. What kit is he?
I can't help you with ideas to sell your babies. I havent sold any havent tried but I think you are right about making it look good with lots of sweet baby pics.

I am sure the babies will sell themselves if look so cute on Ebay. From what others are saying on Bountiful Babies Forum ebay has been really bad lately. Do you go there to chat if not come on over its very helpful.
