how to remove glue from reborn doll

I am about to reborn a doll that was partly reborn, previous owner has for some reason got what I think is glue on the skin right by the mouth.
What would be best to remove it.

Hiya and thanks for response.
This one has not been painted, the seller advertised it as untouched paint wise, i think she forgot to mention she had tried to do nails etc.
I think its glue.I also have to remove eyelashes as i have never seen ones so badly done.

I shall try what you have said and hopefully one or the other may work.

Hi

Are you going to strip off the paint before you reborn the doll again?
If you are not stripping your doll all the way down you want to make sure the paint you use will work with whatever paint the previous reborner used.

If you are stripping it down that should remove what ever it is.

Have you tried just peeling it off with a fingernail or cleaning and rubbing with a damp dish towel?
If its glue that will sometimes work.

I don't know why there would glue near the mouth unless she accidentally got it on her fingers or something.
It could be the varnish most of us use to seal our lips.
the varnish will sometimes go into the creases at the sides of the mouth.
