How to paint the hair on a reborn doll?

Hi please can you explain to me how to painted head on a reborn doll I don't get on so well with rooting reborn doll hair so I thought I would give this a try? do you paint the hair cure it then put on the thick medium, and do you put the medium on thick, would be most grateful for any information you can give me

Hi,
I use a prismacolor pencil, sharpening frequently and following the normal rooting pattern. I let it set for a few hours, then use the Genesis matte sealer and use the heat gun to seal it. The other way I do it sometimes is to use a special brush you can get here-

you use thinned paint, and brush two or three strokes, then dip in paint each two or three strokes, following the rooting pattern as always.

After done, use the Matte Sealer like before.
Hope this helps. I like to sometimes root very sparsely over the painting also. I do my eyebrows in the same way.
