How do you get started reborning a factory doll?

Do I disassemble it? Boil it? I don't know where to start? I don't want to start with a reborn doll kit first. HELP?

Benefits of Vinyl Kit

Although you can reborn a factory doll, there is more work to it then starting with a blank vinyl kit. You will have to remove the factory paint, wig (if it has one), glue from wig, and disassemble the body. Depending on your doll, you may have to buy a new body or purchase a neck adaptor.

I really would recommend purchasing a blank kit. If it is your first reborn, try to find an inexpensive kit before you invest in higher priced ones. Google REBORN KITS CLEARANCE or SALE or search on ebay.
