How do you attach limbs on a doll that has been sewn onto the body?

Hi, I found a Berenguer doll at a yard sale so I'm unsure of her name. She's small and I think it's "lot's to love"? I am wondering how do you attach limbs when her limbs have been sewn right onto the vinyl itself? The head has a groove, but the limbs don't. Is there a way to do this or do people just buy separate limbs for this? Thank You, Tonya

Hi Tonya,
What I have done with the dolls that the bodies are sown to the vinyl is just cut the fabric. Cut as close as you can to the sown area that is attached to the vinyl. When you add a new body you can put glue on the area on top of the fabric. Use a body with zip ties and you should be good to go. Leaving some of the fabric allows it to hold better. Hope that make sense. You can also change out the limbs.
