Do not leave your reborn in the car!
I was at my summer home, had my reborn dolls (2) in my truck when I launched my boat to enjoy the sun and try my luck at fishing.
I got my boat launched, parked my truck and headed out on the lake in my boat.
It was a beautiful sunny day! I found a spot that I wanted to fish, stopped my boat and begun preparing my fishing line for the big fish I was hoping to catch.
I heard a loud roaring that seemed to be getting closer, as I looked around I saw a pontoon boat approaching me fast. I was getting nervous as I was all alone out there in the middle of the lake.
The pontoon pulled up to the side of my boat and there stood an elderly man, and a woman sitting in the back of the pontoon.
The man began yelling at me, at first I could not understand nor did I have any idea what all the ruckuss was about.
I asked him if I could help him, the man kept yelling something about the baby.
Then it hit me! My dolls were in my truck. I tried to explain to the elderly man, they are dolls.
He keep agreeing with me, yes , but: and then began yelling at me again for leaving my babies in my truck.
As I continued to try and convince him that they were just dolls, not real, I was amazed the lady in the pontoon just sat there, not saying a word!
I then yelled back to the elderly man, trying to talk over him, " Sir they are not real, they are just dolls"!
Wow, I think I finally got through to the gentleman, he said not
another word, he put on the gas of his pontoon and sped away!
I did not catch the big fish ( or any fish as far as that goes) But, I did get many hours of snickering to myself everytime that elderly man came into my mind, it also left me with a great compliment and story to share!
