HI, CAN ANYBODY ADVISE ME WHAT TO DO ABOUT A TEXTA MARK ON MY REBORN DOLL. WITHOUT THINKING IT THROUGH I DABBED SOME ACETONE FREE NAIL POLISH ON HIS TEMPLE AND THE MARK FADED BUT SEEMS TO HAVE TAKEN THE NATURAL LOOK OFF AND HAS LEFT A YELLOWISH STAIN. WHAT CAN I USE TO FIX HIM SO HE LOOKS OKAY. ALSO HE HAS A VERY HIGH SHINE OF HIS FOREHEAD. I DO NOT HAVE AN OVEN. THANKS FOR ANY HELP OFFERED. WORRIED REBORN MUM

As far as the shine, have you tried the heat set matte varnish? You can use it just like your paint, and dab it on with the sponge, then set it with your heat gun. It gives a nice texture and takes away the shine, gives it a nice natural matte finish. As for the spot, you might want to try just taking that spot from the start, and blend, blend, blend. In other words, start with your base flesh color, and dab normally in the center, blending into the edges lightly to blend it it with the rest of the skin. Do veins if any, then do your blush and if necessary do more than one coat of the flesh, but use thin layers. If its yellow enough that it may show through use the opposite color first to offset it- which would be violet or fuschia- very very thinned, and applied very lightly, just enough to offset the yellow. Then go ahead with the flesh, blush, etc. being sure to blend in from the center out so you cannot see the blend lines. Take your time and it should work out fine. Hope this helps.
