Can you root a reborn doll using human hair?

Is it possible to use human hair on a reborn doll and if so how much would you need?
I am about to do my first class reborning a new born baby doll and was wondering about the above question.

Human Hair vs Mohair

To answer the question, yes, you can. I have used human hair for my reborn toddlers. I would check with your instructor and see what the class recommends. Everyone has there preference, but for your first, and especially if it is a baby, I would recommend mohair. It is softer and easier to root, in my opinion.
