Can I root hair onto an Ashton Drake Grace doll ?

My Ashton Drake doll Grace has turned gray and now I want to reborn her and root her hair black. What paint should I use for her skin, and what size rooting needle for the rooting of her hair? Her leg has also split apart. Does anyone know where could I find a new leg for this doll? thanks so much
