Realistic Reborn Dolls

Can I add details like wrinkles to my reborn doll?

I purchased a reborn doll, but I would like to add more details like shading the creases and wrinkles. Can I do this without taking the doll apart. Would I dare to use a heat gun, or would the body catch on fire?

Personally I would take the doll apart and add what you want. You need to know what is on the inside of the doll before you heat set it. If you are not careful with using a heat gun you can also create shinny spots, baking in the oven gives you more even heat. Genesis heat set paints for 8 minutes at 265 degrees in the oven. Good luck.
